| One week we had a wild experience with leaf-cutter ants. We awoke to a literal army -- thousands -- marching across our yard, patio, and up this avocado tree. |

| Look at the sheer volume of leaves they haul -- amazing! And check out how large the leaves are compared to their bodies. The pic shows how sometimes "harvester" ants cut and carry the leaves to a "drop zone," where other ants come and pick them up to take back to the nest. Love the creativity God instills! |

| The kids had a monster water balloon fight. Notice our "lake" in the background. We finally saw fish in it for the first time; we were surprised that over 20 tilapia could survive in there. |
